The satisfaction of our customers is our highest goal. In order to reduce costs and delivery times, we offer products, logistics and comprehensive services in their entirety. We attach great importance to individual, intensive consulting and free training of our customers and provide information, simulations, reports or samples. Head office in DillingenAt the site in Dillingen, we produce serial castings from cast iron materials. In addition, the castings are machined on CNC machining centers and partly pre-assembled as subassemblies. For the automotive industry, welded stainless steel tubes are produced mainly for exhaust technology; the tubes are used as catalytic converter or silencer shells. Our trading department CASTrade is responsible for the procurement and distribution of castings from cooperation partners worldwide. By tradition, we offer heating devices distributed in 2 own studios or with nationwide specialized retailers. Central warehouse and logistic warehouse in DresdenIn Dresden we have an import and logistic warehouse for castings and heaters. Here, all products procured by cooperation partners are received, checked and commissioned and then find their way to our customers. In 1985, the company was taken over by the DR. SCHÄFER GROUP. Since 1990 the distribution center East for heating equipment in Pöhla (Erzgebirge) belongs to the company. Since 2002, with the knowledge of the customers, castings have also been procured from cooperation foundries in Eastern Europe and Asia via the CASTrade trading department with logistic center in Dresden. Since 2017, Bartz-Werke has also been offering castings with mechanical machining through its sister company HVM Franz GmbH & Co. We reduce environmentally harmful influences to an acceptable minimum within the framework of the specifications and requirements of the environmental authorities. To keep the air, water and soil clean, we have invested well over 1 million euros in recent years in new equipment to improve environmental conditions, e.g. in a new dust removal system for our molding plant, a new furnace dust removal system for our two cupolas, an exhaust air cleaning system in our core shop, to name but a few.
